SCOTLAND FOR JESUS

Meet George and Joan Owens.

Their Christian life has had them involved in Evangelistic Works since George’s Conversion some 30 odd years ago.

First: With the Gospel Roadshow a Mobile Disco used to promote the “Gospel of Jesus Christ” throughout Scotland . This part-time Ministry ran for 15years, and through “Seaside Missions” / “Birthday Parties” / “Weddings” / “Anniversaries” / Christmas Parties” etc, they saw many people of all ages come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Christian Radio: They were also introduced to Christian Radio through “Caleb Radio” Broadcasting throughout the Lanarkshire Area.

Later, being involved with “Radio Worldwide” in Leeds. / “Good Shepherd Radio” in Saraguro Ecuador. / “Revival F.M.” in Cumbernauld. / “Moray Firth Radio” Fraserburgh. / “Devron F.M.” in Banff.

Missionary Work.

They were Missionaries with OMS, three and a half of those years involved in a Radio Ministry with their Friends, The Saraguro Indians of Southern Ecuador.

For seven years they were Scottish Directors of OMS, which allowed them to travel all over Scotland and gauge the condition of the Church in Scotland.

Their Vision for Scotland.

They have taken up the Challenge in the work of Directors of Scotland for Jesus : This Exciting Ministry is, to First and Foremost promote the “Gospel of Jesus Christ” and to help The Evangelical Church in Scotland in any way they can.

To see once again the People of Scotland, Turn to Jesus, as they have in the past. It is Now Time for the People of Scotland to take up the Call of God in 2 Chronicles 7:14. If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and will Heal their Land.
